Is it legal to download images from Pinterest?
Downloading a pin for personal use, such as offline viewing or a private mood board, is generally fine. The image still belongs to the creator under copyright, so you cannot republish, sell or use it commercially without permission. When in doubt, ask the creator or look for a license.
Is PinSaver safe, with no viruses or malware?

Will the creator be notified when I download their pin?

What is the difference between saving a pin and downloading it?
Saving (repinning) keeps the pin inside your Pinterest account and needs a login. Downloading copies the actual image file to your own device, so you can view it offline, edit it or use it outside Pinterest, with no account required.
Can I download images from private or secret Pinterest boards?
No. Only publicly visible pins are supported. If a pin lives on a secret board or requires a login to view, PinSaver cannot access it and does not attempt to.
Can I download Pinterest videos as well as images?
Yes. Paste a video pin URL and the media type is detected automatically, so you can save the MP4 or the still image. For video pins the main downloader is the better starting point.
Why won’t my Pinterest pin download?
The usual causes are a private or deleted pin, a mistyped link, or a pin that only opens after login. Confirm the pin is public, copy the link again with Share then Copy link, paste the full pinterest.com/pin or pin.it URL, and try once more.
Can I download an entire Pinterest board at once?
